Our parish priest is Fr Romany Shenouda.

He was born in Egypt in 1979, trained int the Egyptian seminary from 1996 to 2004 and was ordained in 15th February 2005 in the Coptic Catholic Church in the Diocese of Sohag in Upper Egypt and was the youth chaplain for the Diocese as well.  He was a parish priest in Several parishes in Egypt until he came to England in 2017  He came to London in November 2017 and was an assistant priest in the parish of St Bede’s, Clapham Park in the Diocese of Southwark. Fr Romany was then appointed as parochial administrator of the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Kirkdale - Sydenham in September 2023 and he is the Coptic Catholic Chaplain as well. He hopes to work with you as a good team for the salvation of all and the message of Jesus Christ to spread all over our parish and people.
